'Kay then...greetings, imaginary audience! On Saturday and today we watched some lovely sessions of General Conference...lots of inspiring messages to be had there :D

My family and I also watched a performance of "Into the Woods" by the high school, which was great! I especially applaud my friend Nicky, who played Rapunzel's dramatic prince...and the other prince, with his stylish hair flipping...I als

o enjoyed the fact that three people were ruthlessly blinded, that Cinderella can speak to trees and birds when in a trance-like state, and how nearly everyone died...how interesting! The girl who played the witch had an outstanding voice, and I thought the Baker had a nice one too. Very intriguing, although somewhat muddled at parts, and there were some minor sound difficulties...oh, and Little Red! Brilliant performance by her! Innocent, then bratty and greedy, then carving up wolves...she's a very knife-happy child. Also, they used the same wedding-bower for Cinderella's wedding as they did on a certain Arabian Night, and I spotted some harem pants in the fairy-tale throng. Interesting. It seems

Rejection...

Yes, it happened. "Just a Penny" didn't get accepted...I had sent it into Deseret Book...and now...rejection. Well, it is kind of cool to get a rejection letter, because it took them a while. So that's cool. Maybe I'll get like a stack of twenty or something in my room, and then thirty years later I'll pull them out and think about how young and foolish I was back then :D Who knows? Echh, but I simply MUST try again, or there sha'n't be any hope.

Vader: IT DOESN'T!!!

Vader: We had this discussion, remember? You did your crazy scream thing??

Luke: Right...yeah, okay. Wait, rule the galaxy? Don't you think that's a little far-fetched?

Vader: (Annoyed) What, you don't think it's okay? I kind of like the ring to it. "Rule the world" is one thing, but the galaxy? That's POWER.

Luke: Um, whatever dad.

Vader: Say "father," it's much more dignified.

Luke: Right...so, FATHER, what do I get for this?

Vader: What? What do you mean?

Luke: I mean, I get certain privileges, right?

Vader: Yes, I suppose.

Luke: Like...driving the Death Star?

Vader: WHAT!!!!!!!!!!???

Luke: Please!

Vader: NO!! You are NOT responsible enough, mister!!

Luke: BUT—!!!

Vader: NO.

Luke: Fine...you are SO going down then!! (Resumes fighting.)

ACT THREE:
Vader: Luke...join the dark side. We have much power.

Luke: Nah...(turns to leave)

Vader: BUT WAIT!! WE--HAVE--COOKIES!!!!

Luke: NEVER!!! Wait, cookies? Um, not that I'm joining, but uh, what kind?

Vader: Chocolate chip.

Luke: Um...well, we only have celery for Jedi meetings...*hesitates*...do you have anything else?

Vader: We have hot chocolate, and Easter Egg Hunts every Thursday.

We had our shows, and they were...in a word...EPIC. The high school has some competition, that's for sure. I had a wonderful, wonderful time though...and little girls were trailing me. :) It was SO CUTE. Also, I loved the wedding costume...compliments to Mrs. Gerwig :D

Overall, we had a great time—especially with the last show. There was SO MUCH IMPROV! It was hilarious, though.
