Hey guys, I just found some ways to go green! (And some cool ways to use stuff.)
~Make an organic bird feeder: Cut a cantaloupe in half and scrape the insides out. Place in it nuts, dried berries, and any organic food birds might like. Thread this with string and hang it in a tree. The birds will go nuts, and they'll peck at the rind, too!
~Leave a bowl full of feathers, fluffy material, string, locks of hair, and yarn during the spring. Birds need something good to line their nests with, so that's a way to help!
~Use Blackle.com instead of Google. (It's the same thing, different website. In fact, it's run by Google.) The computer uses less energy supplying a black screen than a white one, so little by little we're helping—hopefully it'll add up!☻vs.☺
~Don't leave the water running while you're brushing your teeth
~Take showers, not baths
~After a shower, collect the water that runs out from the tap. Use this to water a garden, or to water your plants. (That reminds me...)
~Plant a garden.
~And as an afterthought, plant a tree too.
We can save the earth!! Let's do it together!
